The Seoul Cat Eye №1–8 collection by You Are Cute features gel polishes with a cat eye effect, inspired by Korean nail aesthetics. The semi-transparent texture, ultra-fine shimmer and magnetic particles create a soft silky glow, a glass-like effect and a gentle shine from within.

This is not the classic bright cat eye with a sharp metallic finish. Seoul Cat Eye looks more delicate, clean and modern. The coating beautifully shifts under different lighting, while the magnet helps create an expressive highlight — from a soft diffused glow to a deeper, more dimensional effect.

How does the effect change depending on the base color?
One of the main advantages of Seoul Cat Eye is its versatility. The same shade can look completely different depending on the base.

  • For a light “Korean” effect, apply the gel polish without a colored base, over a transparent base. This makes the coating look weightless, soft and airy.
  • For a denser, yet still delicate result, use a nude base. It makes the color more visible while keeping the finish soft and elegant.
  • For a deep dark effect, apply Seoul Cat Eye over a black base. In this version, the magnetic highlight becomes more contrasting, while the shimmer looks richer and more dimensional.

Who is Seoul Cat Eye perfect for?
This collection is ideal for nail artists who want to create trendy designs quickly, without complex hand-painted details. Seoul Cat Eye works beautifully for clean nails, glass nails, nude designs, dark accents and manicures with a glowing-from-within effect.
Thanks to its semi-transparent texture, the coating does not look heavy even in two thin layers, while the magnetic effect adds depth and movement.

How to apply Seoul Cat Eye

  1. After leveling with a base or gel, remove the sticky layer.
  2. Then apply Seoul Cat Eye in a thin layer. Depending on the desired result, the product can be applied in one layer or two thin layers.
  3. First, apply the product to the center of the nail, then cover the side walls. The cuticle area can be detailed with a thin liner brush for a cleaner finish. After applying each layer, create the highlight using a magnet.
  4. Cure each layer in a 36–48W UV/LED lamp for 120 seconds. After curing, check with an orange wood stick to make sure the product has fully cured.
  5. The final step is applying a top coat. Cure the top coat for 120 seconds. After curing, do not wipe the coating, as this may reduce the glossy shine.

Important application tips
For a beautiful result, pay attention to the position of the brush: uneven or overly thick application can affect the final effect. Also, use a high-quality magnet — it directly influences the clarity, depth and direction of the highlight.

Seoul Cat Eye №1–8 is a collection for those who want to add delicate shine, depth and a trendy Korean glass effect to their manicures.
